I can't think of anything I give less of a fuck about than millionaires throwing a ball to other millionaires. Get over it.

Until my friend told me recently his dream job would be a sports commentator(he already is, I just never listen) I was under the impression sports commentators were forced into that job as a form of torture or maybe retribution. Possibly community service. Anything but willing.

I know this is high treason and I'm gonna get a lot of shit for this but somebody has to play Galileo. Speaking ill of sports in America is a death sentence. Fun fact - the national anthem is taken deadly serious at sporting events, so much so people cry by the hundreds during the performance. The national anthem and pledge of allegiance is another thing I usually text and fart thru. Anything but listen and pledge "allegiance" to a piece of cloth. But that's a different thread doe.

I watch sports for the reason I watch a movie or go to a concert... admiring the creative expression therein. It's captivating to watch the best in the world do something, at least imo. With that said, leagues like the NBA, NHL, MLB, and NFL do a lot more harm than good to sports, but they maintain a monopoly on talent so people will watch it. The nationalism/honoring troops/anthem shit is definitely horrendous. Healthy dose of ignorant statism whenever attending or watching a game.

For the most part, I could care less about sports unless I'm playing them or if my friends want to drink and watch them (I'm an advocate of drinking heavily for little to no reason). But I wouldn't really want to watch the ones I play unless it was a friend of mine or someone I might have to compete against later.

It kinda reminds me of how hella friends of mine watch people stream different video games. Yeah, you can learn a bit if you're trying to get better sometimes, but at some point you're not accomplishing anything and there's not much point to it.

I'm down with 'merica doh. Cept the under god bullshit.

So rigged matches are creative ?

The best in the world only consist of players from the USA - matter of fact only consist of match ups made in the USA ?

Thanks for making me laugh.

what..

the creativity of the athletes performing.. nothing rigged about a great dunk on a fast break or a crossover and step-back to win a game... as for 'rigged matches'.. lol... Some shady shit has definitely come out against the NBA in particular, but the leagues don't get their dream match-ups every year so trying to pinpoint what is and isn't rigged is an exercise in futility

"The best in the world only consist of players from the USA"....
