Tis the Season
And it's not Christmas. Also, no presents. But it's
2016(or as King of the Dot would say it: ''twen2016teen'') and this year it's time for a total revival.
I, your new textbattle moderator(congratulate me in reps, I'm slacking) will help bringing textbattling on everyone's favorite battlerap forum back to life.
But thats not easy. I mean, everyone already battled everyone of their skill level like 5 times. So we're gonna do it different this time around. One word:
VARIETY
Screw those regular 1v1 battles. Well, don't screw 'em because we're still gonna do those, but there will be a
lot more different battle events.
We can't reveal all of them yet, because that would ruin the surprise, but to start off a new season we need new people. New potential legends. New keyboard warriors, lyrical miracles and spiritual individuals.
That's why our first event of 2016 will be
Rookies vs Vets. Totally not based on the URL card. We will be giving the chance to prove newcomers and rookies they're worthy for the main stage and for the already established textcees to prove they earned their spot as a Vet.
Go and invite your friends, uncles and possibly your uncles friend who looks like every cast member of duck dynasty who you think he got what it takes to battle with the best and sign up yourself for this clash of very cool people.
Things you need to know for this event
-Signups close on
WEDNESDAY 11:59 PM PST
-Battles announced the day after (Thursday that is)
-16 bars is the standard here(1bar=1line, math is easy) If you would like to write more you can propose an offer he can't refuse(he can) to your opponent
-Deadline will be on
THURSDAY January 14th 11:59 PM PST
-All the verses need to be sent to me(and Seanzo if he wants to) in a private message, do
not post them anywhere else

-kind of related the event, but if you are an established (text)battler and don't really see why you should battle, we really want to encourage you to still sign up. You are giving a chance for a rookie to prove themselves, you prove everyone else you belong in that Vet spot, and it's just
fun to battle. Go you for signing up, really.
