We did, that's the only one we aren't watching + we are adding in a couple others in like vs Syd and vs Miracle.

Won't be taking donations because the Superchat takes forever to clear.
We would suggest all donations go to https://www.gofundme.com/alex-buchan...-bender-family or to any KOTD sanctioned donation.
This is more just for the celebration of the artist he was as opposed to a fundraiser.
Please all donate regardless.

Hoping I'm about to catch this live. But timezones are a muthafucka.
Hoping this means Bender/Pesci Vs Porich/Twist gets a watch as that's one of my favourites. Too many quotable on both sides.
Been listening to Bad information all morning at work
Still gutted.

There's definitely a lot of potential for the battles that can be watched on this stream, whether it be the battles Bender had with the guests on the stream, or aforementioned battles like Bender vs. Miracle or Syd Vicious. I think it'd be cool to have the group watch also watch if there's time something like Bender vs. Soul, Frankie Phraser or Bamalam, where Bender had some insane writing in those battles (while also being relatively short battles to watch).

If I'm here in the ring get ready to see these sasquatch paws
Nah fuck it, im hearin the ring , I'm ready to eat that's Pavlov's Dog
yeeeeeeeeeesh
Man I was gonna post a couple more I'd like to see but I realized there's not really a Bender battle that isn't worth watching. I guess the ones prior to Miracle aren't the best way to pay tribute, but they still got some heaters in them. Miracle is the battle where it reallllly clicked for him though. PNut and Dirt would be the other ones I wouldn't bother with.
The Phraser one would be cool though, seeing how it was his last one. He absolutely beasted in that too. It's funny, he had a bit of a consistency issue in his last couple years but I feel like it was greatly overstated, probably because he had set the bar so high. Outside of the PNut battle he had some incredible performances. Phraser and Fredo are two of his best imo, probably in the second tier of performances for him. Tumi and Soul were both very very good. Saurus one he has the choke but circumstantially he gets a pass on that and his writing was incredible. I remember waiting for waht seemed like hours for that live stream of the Saurus/Bender one to start, and then damn near flipping a table when he says NOW WHO THE FUCK IS DOYLE BRUNSON.
Curious how everyone else ranks Bender performances. IMO:
God Tier
Arcane
Syd Vicious
24/7
Twist/Rich
Fredo
Really Fucking Amazing
Miracle
Sketch (even with the choke honestly)
Illmaculate (I really really like this one and probably the most he diverged from his style)
Phraser
Big T
Eurgh/Cruger
Great
TheSaurus (gets bumped up w/o choke)
Tumi
Loe Pesci
Soul
Arkaic
Bamalam
Good
Aftershock
Skelly
Barracuda
Scott Free

I would probably drop both the Loe Pesci and Saurus battles to good for obvious reasons. I still rate his Fliptop battle with Proteje as a great one which wasn't on your list despite the horrible sound and weird crowd.

Miracle battle is probably my favourite Bender battle so I'd have that in the top bracket. His second round is crazy and then his 3rd has the first sorry player scheme.

It's up there for me too, so many quotables. Still a mystery why the judges considered it even remotely debatable - and not only Yaz DCS, who actually give it to Miracle.
I don't recall Bender being great in the 2 on 2, in my memory Pesci did a lot better there. Will be interesting to revisit it on the Watch.

Yeah, the Miracle battle was fire. That was his first "complete" battle imo. Everything was hitting, he stepped his aggression up big time.
I will say I actually do like Miracle a lot in that battle, he had some hilarioussss shit. "Your definition of romantic is when your pants fit". Agreed that it's not particularly close though. I feel like that's true for a lot of Bender battles...his opponents tend to do pretty well but it just pales in comparison.
I dunno if I agree on the 2v2 though, it's hard to judge individuals in 2v2 I find, so I usually just rank their performance collectively unless one really drops the ball.
I'd be cool if someone swapped that and Miracle though.

That was definitely the best WATCH stream, lots of classic Bender performances on there, and with Illmac vs. 24/7 being floated as a match idea, that's phenomenal. BTW, best group to assemble regarding breaking down the greatness of Bender (especially with how thorough The Saurus was with breaking down Bender's material).

If you're a patreon (at least 5 bucks) the entire livestream is available uncut on the patreon page. Otherwise I'd imagine they'll just upload the individual battle segments as usual.

Saurus was actually the first guy to make me appreciate Bender. Him nerding out (as a judge) over Benders 'blood down your temple/ Aztec sun god' bar made me understand Bender would be something special.

A bit of a clusterfuck at times due to how many people were in the room (talking too loudly in the back at points) but overall this was a great stream.
Sketch Menace getting clowned for "Homer Simpson fat" had me cracking up. Bender had a bar along the lines of "you thought Ant Banks was Vivian in Fresh Prince" and then even the West Coast guys there didn't know who it was, they had to call Lush over to drop the explanation haha.
24/7 had some great anecdotes and the watch of him vs Bender is the best one yet.
It was funny to see Thesaurus geeking out so much over Bender's AND his own bars.
The behind the scenes stories from BOTB7 about Teddy Grizzle were funny as fuck.
