Im surprised he is in the ring with 2 goats. Iirc it was vs kshine at a smack volume event that he chocked more than a comfortable amount. Perhaps he's been on an under the radar run as of late.
So he has less to lose than say Lux

Chess will completely RUIN the match There’s no need to guess. He will choke multiple times and Tay Roc will be pissed.

For those not watching, 40 bars choked multiple times and eventually forfeit the 2 on 2 match. On the bright side, that ass was looking amazing.

Geechi/Rum vs NWX was a banger
lots of energy; I got Geechi/Rum edging every round but I'm sure you'll hear any number of different judgements
JJDD/Hitman vs Goodz/ Clips in their first now

WElp they shut it down;Cal/Mook vs Brizz/top gon have to happen elsewhere
that was absolutely incredible from Lux and Hollow tho
sheesh
lots of great moments tonight and a couple classic level battles
2 on 2s are what they are but I'd say it was a success providing they give us the last battle at some point

Hopefully this will force Roc to try again. I literally have enjoyed one single round of his entire career so far, lol.

I understand the fact that they had 2 weeks to prepare for this version of the battle, but yeah, Hollow and Lux IMO brought a lot more to the table in the battle.

I'm not that into written 2v2 battles but I thought that was a great event, entertaining for various reasons. It was a bit more friendly and lighthearted than you usually get with big URL battles, I liked that it felt like that were all having fun with it and the chemistry made for some huge moments - Suge/Twork were amazing for that.
I ended up crashing out after the 1st of Roc/Chess vs Lux/Hollow but it was crazy up to that point. Roc/Chess started out with a fire 1st, then Lux/Hollow went next level; I need to catch up on the rest.

I mean, technically Jakk forfeited the 3rd against JJDD, and O-Red had to skip his 2nd against Will due to losing his voice, but as far as like giving up a round completely before saying a single thing, I think that's accurate.

Low-key that could have been the best play because Jaz and Official were cooking

I think 40 even said something on 15MOFE about how Jaz and O'fficial's 3rd shook her up a bit (combined with the fact that the prop or person that was supposed to be a central part of their round wasn't on stage in time).

What stood out (from what I saw in the first) was that both Jaz and Official came prepared choreographically speaking to a level that--- have we seen so far?

Im not sure if your asking how I rank them literally as far as all time 2X2 teams; if so I'll need a lil longer to think about it
BUT as far as IMPACT (no pun intended) -they are extremely important:
-singlehandedly breathed life back into 2X2 battles
-brought 2X2 battle fanship to the urban market
-set a bar for chemistry and performance in 2X2 battles in the modern era
Yes Shufflo had a nice run at igniting interest in 2X2s a minute but it was a largely DF/KOTD type of movement
Shine and DNA sparked shit off across the whole game; 2X2 battles were poppin up on cards from smaller leagues and all that
I mean NWX's original run was pretty epic and, despite technically losing a fair amount of the battles, they are who brought 2X2 battles back frfr.
THEY ARE THE REASON THAT THE EVENT DOUBLE IMPACT EXISTS

Doh! When will rappers learn not to base entire rounds off other people? Make it a couple of fire punches that you can easily cut if things don't turn out right.

Did the Mook battle go down? I just clocked this would have been his first battle on URL since the Solomon battle, madness.
