Seems like Math only wants to fight. Says he already washed Diz in a battle. I thought their kotd battle was close. Who'd you have in that?

Been so long since I have seen it. I would be interested in watching them box though. Far more than a battle lol. But I do think like a quick 60 second battle would be good. It would be more humiliating for the guy who lost to know you wrote bars about how you were going to kick the other guys ass and said them directly before getting fucked up.

It better be a big bag for these guys to even consider this. I know I sure as fuck wouldn't want to lose if I were Diz, and if he beats Math convincingly I think Math might go even further off the deep end than he already is. The money HAS to be worth it.

Something tells me that neither will be that good at anything other than throwing wild swings. That said, if one of them gets KOd this could be amazing.

I had Math winning pretty clearly. First two are debatable, Math wins the third by a pretty big margin imo.

Calling it now. No chance this goes down. No chance.
If this does happen to go down in some bizzaro world, my money is on ALL competitors gassing out badly inside of a single round, and a fucking TON of arm punches. 0 knockouts will happen. This shit will be uglier than LP vs. Deji, which really shouldn't have even been called a fight. Horrible.

I doubt it happens but I actually have always liked the idea. I've waited for a MMA/Battle event to kick off. Kind of like Closure themed.
Maybe battle then box idea.
Not good fights but it's something different

I'd rather watch a Diz and math fight than either of them battle at this point. Although when their battle came out it was one of my favorites for awhile. I still love that battle, I'm glad diz kept the punch for the end and didn't ruin what I consider to be a classic.

Lol it's weird but to me diz and math both have the potential to be low key serial killers. I'm surprised arcane didn't push diz over the edge lol, he was so upset he almost quit battling

I remember years ago something about Dizaster doing Muay Thai or some shit like that so kickboxing might make slightly more sense. But is this actually happening or nah? Seems like strong potential for an absolute shit show regardless of what happens.

Thanks for posting about this! This is really exciting and during the controversy and beef that followed their battle I suggested they do exactly this. It makes perfect sense to do this, its certainly more productive and entertaining than tweeting at each other or Math trying to save face in embarassing video appearances.
When speculating over a fight, assuming both fighters are both low skill (and I assume they are), the most important variable is physical fitness.
Its hard to tell cuz they both wear big shirts but looking at Math, he's got a dadbod and looking pretty small. He doesn't look like he's been doing much physical activity recently, im assuming thats going to change in preparation for this fight. Diz has the body of a guido who has eaten too many cheetos but he's still more jacked than Math.
According to Rapgrid, Hoffa is 6'3'' and 220 pounds, at least he was 220 at one point. Looking at him now, hard to believe he is 220. Looks like Math got a 1 inch height advantage.
As for Diz, again, hard to judge but Diz looks more jacked to me and more importantly, he seems to have way more energy in general. Isn't Math in his mid 40's? That's a huge disadvantage in a boxing match.
Diz has way more energy stamina and speed than Math. Case in point: When Diz punched Math he was so explosive that Math didn't even see it coming.. Someone with martial arts training or even just decent reflexes would never let themselves get caught off guard and clocked like that... The haymaker that Diz threw is easily blocked, dodged or even countered by any properly trained fighter and that is enough to make me question Math's viability in this fight.
As an afterthought, I don't know if Dizaster juices but he's the kind of guy that would go on a massive steroid cycle just for this fight. If he does that, and I suspect he will, that's an enormous advantage for Diz as well.
TLDR version:
Age advantage: Diz (HUGE)
Weight advantage:???
Fitness advantage: Diz
Drug advantage: Possibly Diz
Height advantage: Math (slight)
Speed advantage: Diz
Skill advantage: ??? That's the big unknown but a skilled fighter doesn't get clocked by a haymaker when they have reason to anticipate an attack.

I would guess there is only 4 or 5 years age difference between Math and Diz, so probably not that big a difference. Math certainly looks like the years have been less kind to him though, lol.

This is facts, minus the explosive part. My personal opinion is that Math got hit by it because it was so ridiculous. Diz leans way back and does everything short of winding up his fist like a cartoon, lol. If I were Math that is such a ridiculously over-the-top motion that I would have thought Diz was playing until he threw it.

Math surely has the weight advantage. That said, Diz has a better lean muscle to fat ratio. Haha, pause as fuck but probably true.

You clearly are not trained to fight, then. It doesn't matter if you think someone is playing or not, a trained fighter has reflexes and responds defensively automatically. Once you are trained, that system of reflexive defensive movements do not shut off just because it seems like someone is playing. That's the whole purpose of training in martial arts is to make self defense automatic because things happen so fast that it has to be automatic to be effective. And thats all im saying, Math is not a trained fighter and Diz's punch was explosive
Like even if a drunk person with a shit eating grin who just seems to be clowning around gets to close to me my antenna is up and I'm ready to go any second and not taking my eye off him. If he wound up in a cartoony way im ready to pop off myself there's no way I would just dismiss a real punch as a total impossibility.
Also, a trained fighter knows when people are just fucking around or if they are committing to a punch.
And Diz's punch against math was explosive af, I don't see how anyone could say that was not an explosive punch. I definitely think Diz is more explosive and energetic than Math in general, but time will tell i guess..
if you compare Math's punch against, Serius, his punch was slow af by comparison.

@ Water Mage how about determination as a variable? I mean, I don't disagree that Diz is more likely to juice up- but that probably isn't a big deal for him. On the other hand, Math has been obsessing about Diz ever since he was humiliated. I understand there are different kinds of steroids but if Diz doesn't take the right chemical he could slow down and lose explosion. What style do you train?

I know what you mean as Math even has a chance to sway or pad the punch down. However, your drunk comparison is a bit off. Of course, you'd be wary of a drunk, but that is not the comparison here. Battle rap is full of so much fake aggression and bullshit that people let their guards down. They assume the safety of the ring. The adrenaline and excitement and atmosphere can make strange things happen. Serius basically stood still and took the lamest punch in the world, whereas I doubt that would have happened in a bar, for example.
But yeah, this conversation is lame as fuck, but I think we agree on the main point that Diz is the bigger threat of the two.

Ya good point.. I mean think both really want to win..... A lot has been said about the Math vs Diz battle but what many forget is that Math was playing a lot of mindgames with Diz leading up to the battle.. He kept talking about how he was gonna fuck Diz up at the battle.. Even drew a picture of Diz looking like he got punched out and uploaded it to Twitter before they battled he was trying to get into Diz's head and make him scared of a fight happening. That's why you see Diz so fucking tense and amped up in the battle. U tell someone like Diz ur gonna fuck them up they will take that shit seriously and prepare for war.
You know Diz, he really takes stuff to heart and is very emotional. I personally think he psyched himself up for that battle to an insane degree and I think he went into it ready for anything, determined to win and willing to fight if necessary to avoid getting punked on camera
So if that's any indicator, I would say that Diz will be really determined, I'd say he'd do pretty much anything to win this fight..
The thing is with Diz, I see him as insecure or anxiously determined, whereas I see Math as smug , overconfident and determined.. In competition overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer... Math better be ready cuz if I know Diz he will be getting into the best shape of his life right now and I don't think performance-enhancing drugs would be out of the question for Diz.
On the other hand, Diz better not overdo the physical training for the fight either cuz I could see him overdoing it and coming into the fight burnt out
I also think that Diz is a crazy motherfucker who has a lot of fight in him. I wouldn't wanna fight either of them but If I had to choose one I'd pick Math in a second. Diz has a crazy wild energy to him that math completely lacks and yeah.. I wouldn't want to fight anyone like Diz.
If Diz does have access to PEDs he will take something that gives him the feeling he would be looking for in a fight, if hes used before he will know what will work well for a fight.
Final comparison on Math vs Diz... Diz is a wildman who would keep fighting even after you break his jaw
I actually don't think Math has too much fight in him I think he's just a guy who likes to punch people who are easy targets... I mean, he got a rep for being a tough guy cuz he punched 2 nerds... Dose and Serius Jones.. Diz is a completely different animal.
As for me, I've done it all, have a background in strength training, weight lifting.. But I'm not strong. I have a few boxing buddies who I've sparred with a ton over the years. That's the only thing I ever did to practice boxing, all sparring. Now I just do bodybuilding style training. I'm not a gifted athlete at all but I work hard in the gym and have for years

So you think Leon Edwards ate those shots because he wanted to? Obviously he wasn't in any danger of being knocked out but still by your logic he had to have seen it coming and was prepared for it otherwise he's not a trained fighter? lol, people let their guard down all the time in certain situations and you sound ridiculous suggesting otherwise

I guess you could argue that Edwards still responded defensively though, certainly more so than Math ever did lol, but fighters still let their guard down, everyone is human
