I enjoyed this.
Some funny almost awkward things that ended up being fine kept happening:
Verb comin in all unnecessarily defensive ready to combat past battle W/L opinions like it was Caps or Norbes's show
Verb being triggered by the issue of battle rapper vs regular rapper and constantly referencing veganism

Mal came off ignorant asf to battle shit wit one of his comments

Some other funny shit I caught is when Joe was asking whats up wit Ill Will? I'm fairly certain that he was talking about Big Will from St. Louis but Verb just answered that he aint know what was up wit Ill Will and doesn't fuck wit him like that.
The conversation continued and Joe asked if Verb would go as far as to say he (Will ) fell off and Verb couldn't confirm or deny, which is wild considering ILL Will was a COTY contender. It was clear Verb had no idea about this, which is all irrelevant considering Joe was talkin about Big Will (who unquestionably has fallen off) the whole time lol

I get that everyone on The Joe Budden Podcast are probably casual battle rap fans at best, but that's a weird oversight to not remember that Aye Verb vs. Hitman Holla had happened before.

I don't care for the cronies on Joe's podcast, and he probably isn't as dorky as some of us with knowing some of the battlers we do, but he gets the meat and potatoes of battle rap

Hence when he said he could never do a track with Scarface. Saying lyrically he could hold his own, but it would just seem off him being on a track with him because of Face's pedigree. I love that response tbh, shows self awareness which I appreciate. I noticed most of the older hip hop heads, appreciate the showmanship more then somebody that may just be only able to out bar somebody.
