Clear 3-0 for Bigg K. It didn't look like the crowd completely turned on Boom. That said I shut it off after the top on the 3rd. I found Boom's rounds unwatchable.

Gonna attempt to do an assessment of Bigg K vs. Ah Di Boom with as minimal reference as I can to the paperwork. I honestly have K taking every round, generally speaking I thought he had better material throughout the battle, especially with stuff like the porch light, "Money In A Ziploc Bag" and Erykah Badu candle bars. Meanwhile with Boom, I think he could've done a better job regarding the formatting of his rounds, because it felt like he had a few too many bad bars end up in his rounds that shouldn't have (e.g.: The iPhone charger bar, the bugle bar, the dime a dozen bar, etc).

Also, I don't think Boom did a particularly good job in effectively framing his angles. He'd bring up something like them being in Dallas for an event, or K allegedly saying the n-word against Pat Stay, but then he'd drop it quickly without making sure the angle had a payoff. That said, I think K did enough to win both the battle and the war, especially considering that his 1st round is getting a ton of views on WorldStar, and I honestly wouldn't mind seeing him battle someone like Hollow Da Don or Rone later this year.

Ah Di actually had some good material in this and he could have come out of this intact. He just made a big mistake claiming the paperwork was fake when it is something that can easily be verified.

What I meant was that he had a golden chance to tell his side of the story and he wasted it by claiming the, easily verifiable, paperwork wasn't legit. Not sure what he could have said... but that wasn't it!

It's interesting to me that K said DNA was originally going to bring out the paperwork on Ah Di Boom during their battle when it was scheduled for GOTC. DNA instead took Drugz on that same card on a few days notice, and it makes me wonder how differently things would've played out if it was DNA who first broke out the paperwork and not Bigg K.

The only DNA battle I can remember when he went super personal was that ill-fated Hitman/Verb two-on-two. Even without the heel turn him and Shine weren't exactly killing them with the angle, so I'm not convinced he could have done much with this.

I feel like Boom also made things substantially worse for himself when it came to the lead up to the battle. I understand braggadocio being a thing that comes with the territory of promoting a battle before it happens, but Boom was being super extra for no reason. At least for me, Boom quickly became unlikable well before the battle whenever he'd speak on how much he wanted to actually battle O-Red instead of Bigg K (since I guess Red was the match he originally requested), all the Lil K talk acting like K hasn't amounted to anything, and it probably hit the zenith of the cringe at the face off the night before the battle when Boom was barking like a dog for a solid minute or so.

he was nervous as hell and didnt know how to act thats why he was bein weird af... he had that shit in the back of his mind the whole time

When I think of snitching I think of getting busted and then ratting someone else out that had nothing to do with what you were busted for. Saying how things went down in a robbery you and your friends committed seems slightly different. I guess it is good I'm not a criminal.

The amount of times on first 48 people just ratted themselves out by talking was insane. The few times people were like "I want to talk to a lawyer" the cops would be super pissed and then dudes would just walk off.
